Who We Are?
A combined 40 + years in sales leadership, business development and account management across a number of different industry groups. Our commitment is to be “in your corner” when it comes to sales leadership, process, training and ultimately, execution.
Our business was founded by Scott and Angela in 2021 after Scott had gained more than 20 years’ experience within the sphere of sales and sales leadership. We have clients in multiple B2B sectors – including finance, digital & tech, health, warehousing and research. The diversity of these sectors has helped us to build an understanding of what different organisations need to drive sales performance.

Our Story
Inyourcorner.care was setup in 2021 based on Scott Nicolai’s passion for selling and sales leadership.
The premise was simple, sales is a subject matter and expert skillset not unlike the professional job functions such as engineering, accounting or law. However, rarely does it get treated with the same level of importance. The reality is most companies don’t spend enough time setting up their salespeople for success. Or, time poor business owners are stuck being the main bread winner whilst trying to run the company at the same time. Either way, for something as important as growing the business, sales is often way down the pecking order.

Scott recognised that what he had gained through 20 years of corporate sales execution and leadership was a diverse set of skills that business owners often didn’t get the opportunity to experience. Not only that, but having worked in multiple sectors – finance, digital & tech, health and research helped build an understanding of what different organisations needed to drive sales performance.
After consulting for multiple organisations, the concept for inyourcorner.care was dreamed up. Designed specifically to help solve sales execution challenges that exist in all industries for all manner of organisations.

Meet the team
Scott Nicolai
Co-Founder & Sales Director
Scott is an experienced sales leader of 20+ years with a deep understanding of the B2B landscape within Australia. He has experiences that span tech, finance, data & analytics within Australia & NZ. Scott is an ex-Nielsen Australia executive and leader of the Silver Chef hospitality finance business in ANZ. Scott's passion for sales and execution has been the driving force behind the business with a desire to help clients with their growth and sales plans.
Angela Nicolai
Co-Founder & Finance/Operations
Angela has a diverse background including experience in leadership, sales and finance. She has previously worked within sales for a large Australian IT company before a career change saw a move into the finance sector for the last 15 years. Angela loves finding ways to manage process improvement. Her multitasking skills comes into play whether she is working, helping at her children’s school, playing netball or going to pilates.
Alex Georgiou
Partner/Sales Director
Over the last decade, Alex has
held various lending roles, served as a State Sales Manager for an ASX listed
company, and worked as a Business Partner for a lender specialising in funding
SMEs. Having been a business owner himself, Alex understands the growth and sales challenges
faced by business. His firsthand experience allows him to approach his role with
empathy and a keen understanding of the unique needs of business owners and leaders alike.
Jenine Alastre
Sales Development Associate
Jenine has worked with IYC over the last year and brings a wealth of experience in relation to direct sales and calling strategies. She has spent a number of years working with Global clients on calling techniques, appointment setting and customer experience. Jenine is particularly disciplined with a number of CRMs and brings best practices at a sales-user level.
